The following prayer is recited 15 times each day, starting on the feast of Saint Andrew (November 30) until Christmas day. The prayer puts you in the setting of the incarnation, the very moment that our Lord enters into this world. It is at that moment that we petition the Child Jesus to hear, and answer us!
Hail and blessed be the hour,
and the moment in which
the son of God was born
of the most pure Virgin Mary,
at midnight,
in Bethlehem, in piercing cold.
In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God,
to hear my prayer,
grant my desires,
through the merits of
our Savior Jesus Christ,
and His Blessed Mother.
Amen.
