Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Church Building
and the Rite of Admission to the Candidacy for Holy Orders

Sunday, August 18, 2024

On Sunday afternoon, we gathered to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our church building and the Rite of Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders for our seminarian Tyler Randolph.

The rite is an opportunity for Tyler to publicly express his intention to receive the sacrament of Holy Orders. Tyler will be returning to St. Charles Borromeo Seminary this week to continue studies in Theology and begin the Configuration Stage.

Bishop Kulick celebrated the Mass which included a musical setting of the Mass Ordinary (Gloria, Holy, Mystery of Faith, Amen, and Lamb of God) composed by Jacob Gruss entitled the Mass of the Immaculate Conception and beautifully sung by our parish choir.

Following Mass we gathered in Our Lady’s Plaza for a reception and refreshments.
